Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department (RFD) is dedicated to protecting and serving nearly three-square miles in Morris County, New Jersey. RFD provides emergency response and prevention to approximately 5,000 residents, as well as thousands of others who work or travel through the area daily. Our primary coverage area encompasses a large portion of I-287 and Route 23.
RFD proudly serves the Borough of Riverdale and engages actively with our community. We provide up to date information regarding fire safety practices and safety demonstrations to schools, businesses, residents, and youth camps. We strive to take a proactive approach to fire and life safety skills and education.
