August 12, 0403 hrs: Chief 30, Chief 35, and Ladder 31 responded mutual aid to Pompton Lakes for the Commercial Structure Fire. Crews operated for over an hour venting the roof and conducting secondary searches of the structure. 

July 26th, RFD was dispatched to the area of Hamburg Tpk and Newark Pompton Tpk for the MVA Overturned with possible entrapment. Chief 30, Chief 35, and Squad 33 responded. The patient was out of the vehicle on arrival and Squad 33 assisted with mitigating fluid spills from vehicle.

Riverdale Fire was dispatched to Vernon Township (Sussex County) as part of the Class-B Foam Tender Task Force for an electrical substation fire. Chief 30, Engine 32, and Tender 34 responded and operated on scene for just over 4 hours, assisting in extinguishing the fire.

RFD was dispatched to Hamburg Turnpike at approximately 11:30pm for the working car fire. Captain 1 arrived with Command and reported a vehicle fire with extension to several surrounding vehicles. Engine 32 and Squad 33 responded and extinguished the fire quickly. Units operated for about an hour before returning to service.  

RFD was dispatched to the area of 58 Route 23 North, the entrance to Chili's for the reported fully engulfed vehicle fire with a propane tank onboard. Chief 30, Chief 35, Ladder 31, Engine 32, and Squad 33 responded and extinguished the vehicle fire and several small brush fires. NJ Forest Fire and Pompton Lakes Riverdale First Aid Squad also assisted on scene.

RFD responded with mutual aid partners to I-287 North for a working vehicle fire

 On March 3rd, 2025 Riverdale Fire Dept was dispatched to Route 23 Northbound for the vehicle fire. Chief 35, Engine 32, and Squad 33 responded and found a fully involved contractor van. Units extinguished the fire and conducted overhaul.
